My Style

Different angle! Woo!  These photos are getting tedious now.  I knew I wasn't keen on the My Style badge.

Let's do a spot of Badgemin for it.

1. Take a photo of your outfit every day for a month. I seem to have a few days missing, so I'll just keep going into February.  Thirty days worth should be fine.  Then I'll answer the questions about favourite outfits.

2. What percentage of your wardrobe to you currently wear? Well, I have a long sleeve section for this time of year, and a short sleeve section for the summer.  I wear about 90% of what's in my wardrobe regularly. The rest is 'going out', and a winter skirt that I feel I should own and never wear. DONE

3. How would you describe your style in words? Basic. Brand loyal. Potterhead. How does it make you feel? Fine, thank you. What messages do your current looks share with others? She likes Harry Potter and stripes.  Which is true and I'm OK with that. DONE

4. Make a collage, scrapbook or Pinterest board of outfits you love.  Get inspiration from magazines (I do not buy magazines because they are designed to make you feel like shit), blogs (I don't read fashion blogs. See above re. magazines) and TV shows. Basically this would just be What-Claudia-Wears-on-Traitors! I love the looks she has for that and would bot wear them myself in a million years because I am a normal human and do not have a stylist.  See? This is why I totally despair of this badge.  I suppose I just look at Seasalt catalogues, think "that's lovely" and then buy the stripey tops because I like them and the rest of the stuff is hideously pricey.

So basically no, I will not be making a scrapbook or Pinterest board.  I may do something with a Seasalt catalogue, but I won't be sharing.

5. Review your current wardrobe - how could you create some of the outfits you love with existing clothes? What do you need to add? Decide on up to five items for a wishlist. Erm. I guess I'd like a Lego t-shirt for the summer? And maybe a Snoopy one?  Graphic things that show what I love, like the Harry Potter tops.  If I was a handbag user, then a Loungefly would be lovely.  But I don't use handbags, really.  Perhaps another pair of jeans? Or non-jean trousers? Although I wear non-jeans in the summer.  I dislike clothes shopping. DONE. I guess?

6. Now return to your wardrobe - are there any items you haven't worn in over a year, which don't fit your ideal aesthetic? Donate these to charity. I'm always getting rid of the things in holes and stuff I don't wear.  It's not as if I shop so much that my wardrobe is this massive bulging thing. "Ideal aesthetic"😂 I'm a Seasalt wearing Hufflepuff. DONE!
